Going abroad and learning the language of the country you are visiting is one of the smartest things to do: not only will you learn to communicate in that new language, but you will also understand the culture of the region you are visiting. Plus, you will be able to add a new skill to your resumé.

If you are planning to visit Latin America, you will probably want to visit Argentina. Buenos Aires, the capital city, is an excellent spot to learn Spanish as you will be able to choose from a variety of courses, from private Spanish lessons to group courses.

As you planning your trip, remember: Buenos Aires has four different seasons, with a hot summer and a quite cold winter, and with sunny days in spring and  autumn that may end up being somewhat chilly. This means you will need all types of clothes, from jeans and T-shirts to sweaters and a jacket. Unless you re planning to travel south, the jacket does not need to be too thick. And don’t forget a pair of shorts and a bathing suit if you are planning to come in the summer: there are outdoor as well as indoor swimming pools along the city.

In addition, Buenos Aires has plenty of nightlife, so you might want to bring something elegant, just in case you are invited to an elegant restaurant or to the theatre.
