These Spanish lessons for travelers / foreigners in Buenos Aires are intended for people who need to learn some Spanish fast to move around the city and in any other Spanish-speaking environment. Conversation, role-play practice, vocabulary development and grammar are focused on each learning situation:

Length of the course:
Basic Survival Spanish Crash Course for Travelers / Foreigners is intentended to be covered in 10 class-hours. You may also take 20 class-hours and complete the whole Survival Spanish Crash Course.

We have in recent years traveled on our own in Central America and Cuba for quite some weeks. We do not speak Spanish and we really felt the need for daily communication with people around us. Now, planning our trip to Argentina we decided to give it an effort to learn at least some Spanish. And what could be more effective than two-to-one lessons as a training for our tour?. After some enquiry we made an agreement with IW and Alejandra D'Atri, for a 5 days intensive training course, 4 hours per day, while visiting Buenos Aires. This course was extremely effective. Alejandra had prepared a tailor made course matching our needs for being tourists in the coming weeks, and next to that Alejandra had the ability and skills to pace us, not too fast and not too slow, and follow up to see our progress. This really added some dimensions to our experience traveling in Argentina and we learned more and more Spanish along. Giving it a try talking in Spanish created respect and made most people willing to talk slowly and, if needed, rephrase until we understood. During the course we had small breaks and discussions and we learned from backgrounds, stories, facts and figures about Argentina and we had a great time
